Moth vial holder (set of 3)
A ornamented moth - vial holder is made of plywood and holds one (10 cm = 4inches height; diameter 15mm = 0,59inches) test tube. Plywood is hand painted with black varnish. Edges left in natural brown-burnt colour. Set consist of 3 such holders.
It can be hanged by a chain and it is the only method to keep it upright (it won't stand on it's own). At the bottom it is decorated with beads on a metal mounting.
It can be hanged in a window or on a wall. In a vial you can place herbs in a kitchen to keep them fresh in water, flowers as decorations or as a place where plants can grow roots. You can put jewellery or other small items in them but basic idea behind the design was to have a single propagation station for rooting small plants somewhere around:)
